Butterfly monitoring scheme España is a project which coordinates a national network of transects. After 6 years, the scheme has considerably grown until reaching more than 160 transects and collecting data of 200 species.

Here, I show some photos of the species I have recorded in the transect of Colmenar Viejo, where there is great butterfly abundance and richness.
